Back by popular demand, Seal Tours have returned to Wickford Village. This seasonal favorite offers a rare opportunity to observe the fascinating harbor seals that make their winter home here in Narragansett Bay. Hop aboard the Coastal Queen and enjoy a scenic, educational cruise that takes you through the Historic Wickford Harbor out to where the seals hang out!

Running through mid-April, this tour is the perfect way to experience winter on the water while staying warm and comfortable aboard. Whether you’re a photographer, nature lover, or simply looking for a fun family friendly activity, this cruise is not to be missed!

What to Expect on Your Seal Tour:

Seal-watching season in Rhode Island typically runs through early spring. The Coastal Queen will head out to Rome Point for prime seal watching. Our guide will offer facts about the local seals that you will see on the tour. Binoculars will be provided so that guests can get a closer look. In addition to seal watching, you will get to see beautiful views of Wickford Harbor, Poplar Point Lighthouse, Fox Island, Rome Point, Plum Point Lighthouse, and the Jamestown Bridge.

Tour Schedule & Booking:

Seal Tours typically run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays but departure times vary as they are based on low tide. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Tours sell out quickly, especially on weekends.
