Festival Express from Ann Street, Newport

Reserved Express Shuttle Service – Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals

During the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals (July 25–27 & August 1–3, 2025), a Reserved Express Shuttle will operate between Ann Street Pier and Fort Adams State Park.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended as seating is limited. Guests must book a scheduled departure time for both trips to and from the festival. Missed your scheduled time? You’ll be placed in a standby line and accommodated as space becomes available. Plan ahead to ensure a smooth and timely ride to the festival!

Coastal Queen

  • A 58-foot excursion boat
  • Coast Guard inspected for 148 passengers (please note that for comfort purposes we cruise with 110 max, and passenger count may decrease if catering options are added). 
  • Upper deck features a hard top and side curtains 
  • Glass-enclosed lower deck offers a full-service bar, snack bar, cafe-style seating and a heated cabin
